More exciting things are happening here in Sudbury!

This time, Laurentian University, specifically the Engineering Society (LUESS) is playing host to FYIC 2015, a conference aimed at first year engineers to help involve them in the engineering community and foster a growing network of different engineering societies. Existing in large part due to ESSCO (Engineering Student Societies’ Council of Ontario), this conference has been bounced between different campuses since it’s existence, and now has landed here in Sudbury at the Laurentian University Campus.

We were asked by the hard working student team to organize the conference to help support the endeavor, and are more than happy to do so! You should check out further details here, and if you’re interested in helping support this fantastic experience, you can contact their Chair of Sponsorship Colin Roos at croos@laurentian.ca.

We’re proud to continue being a part of the growing innovative community in Sudbury and very much look forward to seeing what the team running this conference can pull off with this year’s FYIC 2015!
